Formed in the autumn of 2011 in Glasgow, Temple Dawn have quickly gathered a cult following and grabbed the attention of many in a short space of time.
Sticking with the plan to increase their exposure they have exploded into Glasgow’s music scene, performing at such venues as; The Art School, The Cathouse, Nice and Sleazy’s, Box and King Tuts Wha Wha Hut.

As of 2nd January 2013 Leaker Direct (Distribution) Ltd will become the sole importer of Itho Boiling water taps in the UK. Leaker Direct launched the Itho Boiling Tap Range in 2010 with huge success particularly with the 3 in 1 version of the tap (pictured below), which delivers hot cold and 100 degree boiling water from the same spout. Safety is priority and the Itho tap uses various methods to ensure the safe delivery of 100 degree boiling water. In order to prevent accidental use the handle incorporates a push turn system with recoil action where the button on the handle must be pressed and turned to dispense boiling water, when the button is released the recoil action returns the handle to the off position instantly. Boiling water is delivered through a separate insulated pipe within the spout to completely separate the boiling water from normal hot and cold thus preventing its unintentional use, the patented insulation system also means the spout of the tap is cool to touch.
Energy Efficient technology and design means the Itho boiling tap costs just .09p per day to run on standby which is approximately 5 times less than it costs to boil the kettle once! Not one drop of boiling water is wasted because the Itho tap will deliver exactly the amount required in an instant helping the environment by eliminating unnecessary surplus and saving water rates.
Compact 5L tank is designed to fit underneath the base unit behind the plinth thus taking up absolutely no space in the cupboard itself unlike any other boiling or hot taps on the market.
10L combi tank has all the functionality of the 5l tank with extra capacity and the capability to deliver 32 litres of hot water as well as 7.5l of boiling. By blending boiling water with cold to produce hot this vessel requires only a cold feed making it ideal for island situations and circumstances where a hot feed is not available.
Guarantee on both the 5-litre and 10-litre combi tank is 5 years with a 2-year warranty on all other parts giving the user piece of mind in the quality and reliability of the product.

After an engine and gearbox rebuild which has taken over 12 months, Alick Kerr’s Leaker Direct Sponsored Subaru Imprezza returned to action in Dumfries for a series of warm up rallies ahead of the Scottish Rally Championship in February 2013.
After 21 months away from the sport, Alick was a bit rusty for his return at the Scottish Rally around Dumfries. Pace was better for his second outing at the Merrick Stages Rally a few weeks ago finishing 8th overall which could have been 4th had it not been for 3 punctures.
Alick began Kart Racing at the age of 8 and with the support of Leaker Direct has progressed to compete in the Scottish Rally Championship, finishing 1st in his class last season in the Leaker Direct & Rangemaster sponsored Subaru.
This season the Team has a fresh look with the addition of experienced former works co-driver Claire Mole and the revised decals on the Subaru itself. Scottish distributor Leaker Direct has proved that “demonstrations deliver sales”. At a three-day dealer event, held in Leaker’s newly refurbished kitchen showroom in Newhouse, Lanarkshire during June, the company exclusively featured De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances for cooking demonstrations to promote the launch of Kompact Kitchens.
The demonstrations were provided by national training and business development manager Deborah Barnes and sales consultant Mikaela Dahlberg, and said to be “eagerly viewed” by a well-attended audience of Scottish kitchen specialists and trade customers of Leaker Direct, which claims to be Scotland’s leading kitchen appliance distributor.
Leaker became a supplier of De Dietrich and Fagor kitchen appliances at the beginning of 2009. A significant uplift in regional sales for both brands has been experienced by De Dietrich since.
