Leaker Direct celebrated their 8th Birthday by unveiling a new company logo and adding three new partners to their existing wide range of products.
The first of 3 new partners are Glen Dimplex Appliances Ltd who have chosen Leaker Direct to distribute their New World, Belling and Stoves brands of range cookers and built in appliances. Glen Dimplex have a record of excellent customer service, and with 3 brands targetting different levels of the market, Leaker Direct are excited by the new additions to their existing varied range of built in appliances.
Leaker Direct have also been selected to distribute Steel Cuisine Range Cookers exclusively throughout Scotland and the North of England.
A new comer to the UK range cooker market, Steel Cuisine offer high quality range cookers over their Genesi and Ascot ranges, with a wide variety of cook-top choices and bold colours.
The third new product to be distributed exclusively throughout Scotland and the North of England by Leaker Direct is the boiling water tap from Quooker. This exciting new development is the only true boiling water tap on the market, which is offered in 4 different designs and 5 finish options.

| Leaker Direct sponsor Alick Kerr for Fiesta Sporting Trophy |

Leaker Direct (Distribution) Ltd are delighted to announce their sponsorship of up and coming rally driver Alick Kerr, 19 of Bothwell, Scotland as he graduates to the Fiesta Sporting Trophy for 2008.
This successful partnership is now in its fourth year and sees Kerr following his win of the Peugeot Ecosse 205 1.9 Challenge title last year by moving on to the Fiesta Sporting Trophy in his new Ford Fiesta ST. This televised championship over 6 rounds is held across the UK. Kerr will also compete in the 8 round Scottish Rally Championship that kicks off with the Snowman Rally in Inverness on 16th Feb 2008.

| Leaker Direct all set for KBB2008 |

Leaker Direct (Distribution) Ltd are once again delighted to be taking part in KBB2008 on stand M22 Hall 17. In their second visit to the exhibition the leading specialist appliance distributors are doubling their stand size to 70m2 following their success at KBB2006.
Leaker Direct will be on Stand M22 in Hall 17 where they will be exhibiting Kompact®, their own brand of built-in appliances alongside the Kitchenaid range of innovative appliances. New developments from Kompact® on display include the new Headroom Extractor which is available in 60cm, 70cm and 90cm in stainless steel with a glass sloped canopy. This new Kompact® hood offers a luxury look at a very competitive price. Inline with demand the Kompact® range has also been extended with the BCE600/BK Deluxe Single Oven offering a desirable black option for their already successful BCE600SS in stainless steel.
Kitchenaid was launched mid 2007 and as a distributor, Leaker Direct are pleased to be showcasing their innovative KOSP6610 Pyrolytic Steam Oven with an astonishing 34 cooking functions. With the Pyrolytic function consumers can take the stress out of cleaning their oven whilst the steam function offers a healthy option for cooking. Also on show from Kitchenaid is the innovative KHMS9010 Step Hob offering both gas burners and induction plates in one hob. The novel KDIX8810 In-sink Dishwasher offers consumers with limited space the option of a dishwasher where space constraints would not have allowed before.

| NEW Showroom & Training Centre |

Leaker Direct (Distribution) Ltd have opened a new Trade Showroom and Training Centre on their premises just off the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The new showroom which is one of the largest of its kind in the UK features over 500 appliances, most of which are fully integrated.
To unveil the new showroom Leaker Direct held an opening over 3 days which was attended by approximately 250 guests and representatives from various manufacturers including Kitchenaid, Maytag, Kuppersbusch, Teka, Leisure, Rangemaster, Falcon and Siemens. (Arthur Leaker and Stuart Colvin of Rangemaster inset). Kitchenaid and Kuppersbusch home economists were on hand throughout the opening providing demonstrations and refreshments for the guests.
As well as promotions which ran over the 3 days, Leaker Direct have launched a new trade promotion offering customers £50 of Marks and Spencer vouchers for every Rangemaster Range Cooker ordered and invoiced between 1st March and 30th May 2008.

2008 promises to be a year of changes for Leaker Direct with many exciting developments!
Leaker Direct have been appointed as the distributor for Hansgrohe Taps and are delighted to be adding this range of quality and innovative mixer taps to their existing product portfolio.
In addition to Hansgrohe, Leaker Direct have been appointed as distributors for GE Appliances. Leaker Direct are excited to offer this range of American Fridge Freezers with various options from the exclusive Monogram range to the fresh Fusion range with its extensive choice of 19 colour options to match any kitchen.
And finally Leaker Direct are pleased to announce that they are now distributors for Elica Hoods. | Teenage Rally Driver Wins Season Opener! |

Leaker Direct continue their sponsorship of local rally driver Alick Kerr as he undertakes his first full season of rallying having just turned seventeen.
Alick Kerr of Bothwell, Lanarkshire, made an encouraging start to the season with a convincing win on the first round of the Brick & Steel Ecosse Challenge during the Palmerson Stages Rally at Craill in his Leaker Direct Sponsored Peugeot 205. Kerr now leads the Brick & Steel Ecosse 205 Challenge and is also the top junior in the championship.
Kerr has been racing since the age of 8 when he began Kart Racing, triumphing at this he moved on to a promising start in Rallycross Championships. Kerr will be taking part in the British Rally Championship in 2007 and Leaker Direct hope their support will ensure Kerr fulfils his ambition of progressing all the way up the rallying ladder.

| Further Expansion for Leaker Direct |

National Distributor, Leaker Direct (Distribution) Ltd, follow their success exhibiting at KBB2006 by expanding their business premises just off the M8 in Lanarkshire, Scotland. Leaker Direct have acquired the neighbouring property and renovations are underway to join the two buildings. The new property will increase Leaker Direct’s premises to 50,000 sq ft.
The new and improved facilities will include a 50,000 sq ft warehouse, sales, marketing and accounting offices; alongside a 5000 ft sq Trade Showroom. On display in their showroom are 13 working displays featuring Built-in Appliances, Range Cookers, Sinks & Taps, Flooring and Lighting all distributed by Leaker Direct.
