Ceiling hoods are becoming increasingly popular thanks to their seamless minimalist design, perfect for an open plan kitchen and dining area.
These hoods are often built in above an island or peninsular over a built in hob and come with a remote control. This type of extractor is most effective when ducted to an outside wall through the gaps in the ceiling joints but often can be recalculated with the use of charcoal filters if ducting isn’t an option. Be sure to measure the installation space carefully and check the dimensions of the hood including the motor before making a decision. Think about where the ducting comes out of the motor and how you will route that to the outside wall.
